ZMC Group has expanded its recall of battery-operated light-up toys, including a Mexican flag foam stick, unicorn headband, jelly rings and heart balloon flowers, sold at Diva at Heart, other stores and distributors, and online at divaatheartsj.com. The toys violate the mandatory toy safety standard because children can easily reach the button cell batteries, which can cause serious injuries, including internal chemical burns, and death if swallowed.

What to do

Consumers should stop using the toys immediately, take them away from children and contact ZMC Group for a full refund. Consumers will be asked to remove the batteries, write “RECALLED” or a large “X” on the product with a permanent marker and submit a photo of the disposed product to recallzmctoy@gmail.com. Note: Button cell batteries are hazardous. Batteries should be disposed of or recycled by following local hazardous waste procedures.

Contact: Email ZMC Group at recallzmctoy@gmail.com.
